Arc of Greater Brockton to begin new Digital Literacy Initiative in 2026!
We’re excited to share that The Arc of Greater Brockton has once again been selected to receive a $20,000 grant to participate in a national digital literacy initiative, made possible by The Arc of the United States and the AT&T Foundation. This funding allows us to expand our work helping people of all abilities build the digital skills they need to thrive in today’s world.
Throughout 2026, we will host a series of interactive digital literacy seminars designed to meet people where they are, regardless of experience level. These sessions will focus on practical, real-world skills such as navigating the internet safely, using email and mobile devices, understanding online tools, and building confidence with everyday technology.
The goal is simple: to ensure that no one is left behind in an increasingly digital society.
We’re especially excited that many of these seminars will take place in our newly renovated event and performance space, which is being designed to support hands-on learning, visual engagement, and inclusive participation. The space will enable us to create dynamic, accessible, and community-centered learning experiences. We'll welcome not only the people we serve here at AGB but also individuals from partner organizations and the broader community.
Digital access is a huge hallmark of independence, connection, and opportunity.
That's why we're deeply grateful to The Arc of the United States and the AT&T Foundation for their continued belief in this work, and we look forward to sharing more details about upcoming seminars in the months ahead.
