The Arc of Greater Brockton operates a comprehensive Employment Services Program for participants, offering placement assistance in local businesses and within our own internal business operations. Our dedicated staff assist adults with varying abilities to prepare for, achieve and maintain gainful employment in the community.

Job Development Program

The goal of the Job Development Program is to secure independent and integrated jobs for participants, for which they demonstrate interest and motivation. Job Development staff will identify and address with each participant their personal interests, personal preferences, work motivation, work habits, physical capacities, interpersonal skills, and other work-related skills.

The Arc of Greater Brockton has business partners throughout the region, creating a variety of work experiences. Our staff work with participants and employers to identify mutually beneficial work opportunities, foster inclusive work environments, and provide the support and training needed to achieve gainful employment.

Fee Based Service

The Arc of Greater Brockton recognizes that not all participants receive financial assistance from state agencies such as the Department of Developmental Services to help them build their skill sets and obtain employment experiences.

The following Employment Services Menu is available to all participants throughout the year.

Hourly Rate Services: Range from $35 - $50 per Hour

  • In-home job development such as skill building activities, resume development, and the completion of employment applications.
  • In-community job development which includes job exploring, trainings, and undertaking community activities.
  • Interview skill building and guidance through the interview process
  • On the job coaching and training

Contract Rate Services: Fees Vary and are Based on the Individual Program

Fast Track Program – This one-to-one intensive counseling service provides a comprehensive individualized training program for two hours a week for two months.

House Run Trainings – The Arc of Greater Brockton provides a variety of Employment and Skill Building training sessions throughout the year in a group setting. Each Training is priced individually depending on the type and length.

The Arc of Greater Brockton provides industry with a trained, supervised work force that can meet your business needs, at your location. The work crews are always accompanied by one of our supervisors to ensure a high quality of work.

Lawn Care Services

Our Lawn Care Services team provides a variety of services, which includes lawn mowing, raking, and spring and fall cleanups. Our skilled workers, along with a supervisor, ensure a thorough job.

Regular lawn mowing service includes mowing, trimming, raking, and weeding. You can schedule our crew monthly, weekly, or bi-weekly according to your lawn needs. Spring and/or fall-only raking or cleanup can be scheduled a well.
